Healthyroads.com® Honored With Two eHealthcare Leadership Awards at Healthcare Internet Conference
SAN DIEGO (November 15, 2006) – American Specialty Health (ASH) wellness subsidiary Healthyroads, Inc. was recognized for its exceptional Healthyroads.com® Web site at a special presentation in Atlanta earlier this month during the 10th annual Healthcare Internet Conference. Over 220 health care organizations submitted more than 1,100 entries to the annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards competition. Entries were judged by 100 individuals familiar with health care and the Internet.
Healthyroads.com® was recognized as a leading product sales site by the publisher of eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, the presenter of the awards. The publisher honored Healthyroads.com® with a silver award for best site design and an award of distinction for best overall Internet site–two of the categories cited by awards chairman Mark Gothberg as being the most competitive.
“What’s clearly evident this year is the number of outstanding sites,” said Gothberg. “The Best Health/Healthcare Content, Best Site Design, and Best Overall Internet Site categories drew the most entries, and it was particularly difficult for judges to choose among competing sites in these hotly contested categories.”
